Let's start by saying they have excellent baklava, no doubt! 😋 I have eaten at this place twice. The meat shawarma was delicious! 🤤 The Fasolia or Bamia were great; there was plenty of meat, without mistake! 👍 I noticed the grilled food is always overcooked and hard to chew, so I am not ordering any of it anymore. Update: I went there again for the Ramadan buffet. It was amazing. Lots of variety of food with nice presentation! The best so far!! This is the most authentic Arab dining experience I’ve had in Florida. While the menu prices may be slightly higher than average, the exceptional service more than makes up for it. I ordered the mansaf, and it was absolutely delicious. They also offer complimentary khubz (bread), which is the real deal—far superior to the so-called ‘pita’ sold elsewhere. Ended the meal with an ahweh arrabiyeh and it was legit too. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you’re in the area. :)

Al-Salam is a genuine Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant. The food is fresh, great taste and large portions. I was greeted with a basket of warm pita, garlic sauce and pickled vegs. I sat outside, which is a great on a warm or cool evening. The music, the ambiance and the flavours made me reminisce about my visits to the Middle East. Of course, do not forget to finish the evening with Kunafa!🙌🏼✌🏼🫶🏼🇵🇸

I went to this restaurant first time. I was surprised to see ribeye steak in the menu of a Mediterranean restaurant. I wanted to try and took therisk. Unfortunately it was really terrible. My friend ordered grilled shrimps and I tasted it. It was delicious and amazing. The service is great and the staff are so kind. But I can give 4 max as the steak was terrible

This is my favorite Mediterranean spot in Hallandale! I always go for the beef kebab platter — it’s consistently delicious. The salads are fresh and exquisite, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. Jorge always offers excellent service, friendly and attentive — one of the reasons I keep coming back. Highly recommend!
