Taj Indian Cuisine

We had a hankering for Indian food and the last place we went to near us was very disappointing. After looking over the menu, we decided to go to Taj, on Fowler Avenue, and we were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was good, a very clean and well lit restaurant, unusual artwork and the food was delicious. We both love korma, and were able to get something that fit the bill, and we were very pleased with it. And prices were very reasonable. If you are looking for Indian food, I would strongly suggest going to Taj.

Stopped in while I was in Tampa , this place is so beautiful inside.I was greeted with a smile and I ordered food to go Vegetable Samosa’s and it was so freaking hot and fresh just delicious.I will return here and dine in next time.Highly recommended 👌

Chicken curry was spicy and soulful, just how it should be. The flavors cling to your tongue in the best way. Loved the garlic naan too ,crispy edges, soft center. Food heaven.

We order Taj special platter, butter chicken, and full tandoori chicken with garlic nans. When the apatizer came out, the tandori chicken seemed like it was boiled and had not put in the tandoor. It had a distinct chicken smell, which was very unpleasing. Seemd the chicken was not fresh and reused from previous cooking. I dont recommend this restaurant at all. It's a shame that this restaurant calls it self a indian restaurant. The food is nowhere close to what indian food should taste like.

The mutton korma is a flavor bomb , rich, intense, and packed with spice. Taj doesn’t hold back, and I love them for it. One of the best meals I’ve had this year.
