Islamic Foundation of South Florida

This is the biggest Islamic Center in this area with a Masjid and a middle school right by the Sawgrass Express Way North Bound on Commercial Blvd Exit.

Great facilities and prayer area. Large land space and currently collecting funds to build a bigger masjid compound. There's a k-8 school on site and a great food pantry to help serve the Ft Lauderdale area.

I had the honor of hosting my event post Jummah prayers! Man do they know how to organize, plan and have resources to make life easier! For vendors, they had maintenance staff, tables and chairs. Not only were the imam and wife very welcoming and informative, but even the audience/volunteers/customers and staff were some of the nicest and most patient folks I have ever served! Definitely one of my favorite places I’ve had an opportunity to serve.

They have fights there all the time and the board does nothing about it and someone who’s banned from the masjid comes again to fight ridiculous
