Islamic Society of Riverview & Apollo Beach

I am visiting from out of town and found this masjid on line which was the closest to me. I was determined to get to the Masjid for Jummah so I took a Lyft cab June 6th Eid . People were not friendly or welcoming at all. There was no Asalamu Alakium or Eid Mubarak. Brothers just walk right past no acknowledgment,only one sister spoke and asked me if I needed help because I am an elder with a walker. The rest of the sister never spoke ,so I smiled to see if I would get any response. Not much. This is really sad how some of our Ummah really are so indifferent..

Assalamaleikum What is the point of a masjid but a place to pray? If a person is going to take on the responsibility of establishing a house of prayer at the very least the place should be open during all prayers times no matter what. It's a house of prayer. It's so discouraging everything I am in a new place and I google for the nearest masjid and when I get there is closed.

Was my neighbor for years.

ماشاءالله the masjid is very clean and welcoming fajer is at 6:15 and ishaa is at 8:00 This is the latest as of the 15th of January 2022

Very convenient for me. The place is nicely maintained. Very good community effort.
