Alssalm Alykom. When you come to the masjid to pray you have to remember that you are coming only for praying to ALLAH ( سبحانه وتعالى ) and not making negative comments about the imam and the masjid. However be always nice to your brothers even if they are not nice to you

The imam (Yaser) is very rude and he does not like if you have a different opinion than him. He will approach you will ill intentions after you pray and harass you for no reason, even if you just walk in to pray salah. He has called the cops on many people on numerous occasions and is not a friendly individual in general. From your brother in Islam, I advise you to STEER CLEAR of this masjid, and pray at a different location if you value your privacy and self-worth. Edit: things have not changed a year later, Yaser needs guidance from Allah, Allahu Musta'an

I give one star for Allah, and Allah alone. I thank Allah for the opportunity of a place of prayer. My experience with the brothers hasn't been as friendly and welcome. A so called Muslim brother drew a gun on me and threatened to take my life inside the masjid right after Isha prayer and I was trespassed and escorted off the premises during Eidul fitr the next day, 1year ago. Still noone has yet to reconcile the differences or apologize or forgave. I still have police report and awaiting legal resolution. Such behavior is unacceptable in Islam. To the Islamic world I wouldn't refer or recommend any believer to attend the Islamic Center of Polk County, Florida USA.

Beautiful masjid to go and praise Allah. Very peaceful and the brothers & sisters are welcoming to new Muslim brothers & sisters. Every Jumah Friday congregation is beautiful mashAllah.
