Great food and excellent service. Good place for small parties or large get-togethers, upto 120 guests.
It specializes in: Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi Cuisine, specifically Punjabi style of cuisine—- aka Mughal style cooking or Northern Indian /Pakistani style.
They can also do Indian style pizza with an authentic Butter Chicken, flavor.
Chefs from Bombay and from Lahore, do a great job mixing the northern cuisines from the subcontinent.
We had a small party and specially ordered CHAPLI KABAB……Yum yum with green coriander Chatni. Best CHAPLI kaboabs ever, outside of Peshawar , KPK, Pakistan🇵🇰.
Love the Pakistani/ Punjabi wall pics / decorations.
American 🇺🇸 dishes like Wings, philly steaks, burgers, pizza, pasta, Tandoor grill items, gyros, are also available.
Bunch of good appis, like samosas, pakoras, and lamb chops, also available.
Excellent service. Much appreciated that you openend at 3 pm just for us. Thanks.
Forgot to mention the sweats/deserts. Carrot Halwa , Gajar Ka Halwa, and Falooda , Desi style Ice Crean / Shurbet Sunday. 👍👍👍👍

I have been a loyal customer of Tandoor Desi Restaurant for the past few years, and it’s high time I share my love for this incredible establishment! This gem offers the most authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in the area.
Every visit is a delightful experience. I usually order a couple of samosas and either the tandoori chicken pizza or the butter chicken pizza. Today, I opted for the butter chicken pizza mild, and as always, it was bursting with flavor. Even the mild version has a delightful kick that keeps me coming back for more.
This restaurant is not just my favorite, but also a beloved spot for my son and my partner. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentically Indian. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, making every dining experience special.
So far, I have only ordered takeout, but I am looking forward to dining in the restaurant in the future. If you’re looking for a place that serves amazing Indian food with a unique twist, Tandoor Desi Restaurant is the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Thank you, Tandoor Desi, for being our favorite dining spot!

Yesterday afternoon I decided to try a restaurant by my house named Tandoor for a nice meal.
This restaurant is located on Oakland Boulevard and Pine Island Road in the plaza next to the AT&T.
When entering the restaurant you are greeted by the host who will allow for you to pick where to sit. I chose a seat near the window to enjoy the view. After receiving the menu I decided to order the Chicken Tikka Pizza medium spicy and a can of Coke. The pizza came out piping hot. This was a great pizza combination I’ve never had anything like it. The taste was spicy and the ingredients tasted fresh. A true masterpiece.
My server was very nice and informed me that they offer an unlimited buffet from 5 to 9 on Wendsday nights.
It’s always great to find a local spot with good food that is worth coming back to try their buffet soon.

A hidden gem in Sunrise! I had no idea this place existed, let alone being just 10 minutes from home. I had dinner here this evening, and the food did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious and packed with spice!
The tandoori chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with just the right balance of salt and spice. It's a must try! We also ordered the lamb biryani, which was phenomenal. The lamb was boneless, melt-in your-mouth, and I requested it spicy, it delivered a serious punch! We also had chicken tikka masala (not pictured) and garlic naan. The naan was served fresh out of the oven, soft and hot, and the tikka masala was a definite win. If you're new to Indian cuisine, the chicken tikka masala is an excellent starter dish that I'd recommend to anyone.
For dessert, we tried the gulab jamun. I know it's meant to be sweet, this was overly sweet for my taste, I couldn't finish my portion.
The interior of the restaurant is straightforward, nothing fancy or over the top. Large tables are set up along the sides and down the center, great for big groups. You can tell the restaurant has been around for years, and while the decor shows its age, the staff keeps it clean, who are very friendly. They also have a buffet setup, which I believe is available on weekends and during weekday lunch hours.(I may be wrong)
Oh, and if you're a mango lassi fan, theirs is a must try! It's creamy, generous in portion, and a perfect way to cool off after enjoying all the spicy dishes.

Tandoor Events catered our wedding reception, and I must admit, I was initially anxious due to having 300 guests and live stations. However, they executed everything flawlessly. The food was outstanding, and the service was exceptional. They truly exceeded our expectations.
