Avoid this location for the next month or longer at all costs. They are extremely unorganized and did not prepare well for the highly anticipated grand opening. Online orders are waiting 30+ minutes longer than those who just walked into the restaurant. The online system doesn’t alert you of the extremely long wait, and as a result you arrive at your stated pick up time and have to wait another hour. You can’t even cancel online orders, making this process more difficult and frustrating for customers. This is unacceptable. UPDATE: I ended up waiting an extra hour after my states pick-up time. And when I finally got my order, it was cold (you would think it would be hot a fresh), missing toppings, and the drink I ordered was not available. Food was thrown together like slop and portions were not as expected compared to other locations. See picture below…can you find the broccoli?? They need to shut down for another week or two so they can pivot their operations. Take a lesson from Raising Canes who handled their highly anticipated grand opening like champs! Do better, CAVA!

First two times I went to this location waited 1hr+ standing in line to order. The quality of the food outweighed the inconvenience for me. Today, I tried their online ordering system to avoid the line and I am shocked at how carelessly my order was handled. Both items (pita and bowl) are not even half way full, missing all ingredients that I added to them(many of them for an up charge), and there’s no way to contact the store other than driving there again into the madhouse that it is. Insanity- severely disappointed to say the least. CAVA, do better. You’re going to fumble a lot of potential customers from the very beginning. Wasted potential. The end.

Worth the Wait... But Maybe Order Ahead for Now! I’ve been counting down the days for CAVA to open near me in South Florida, and I was so excited when they finally did. I went during their opening week for a lunch date with my daughter, and as expected, the lines were long. We waited over 45 minutes just to order, and once we got to the front, I was told the Harissa Chicken was out and would take 10–15 minutes. Unfortunately, that turned into a 30-minute wait. Despite the wait, the food absolutely hit the spot. I ordered the Greens + Grains Bowl and customized it with super greens, basmati rice, black lentils, roasted eggplant dip, traditional hummus, tzatziki, ½ falafel, and ½ harissa chicken, topped with tomato + cucumber and Persian cucumber. I also got a side of pita and the strawberry citrus drink, which was light, fruity, and super refreshing. The bowl was packed with flavor—earthy lentils, smoky eggplant, creamy hummus, and the perfect kick from the harissa chicken. Everything was fresh and well-balanced. My daughter got the kids' pita meal with basmati rice, black lentils, and chicken tucked into warm pita. It came with pita chips and a drink, and she loved it. CAVA remains one of my favorite places to eat, and I’m so happy they’re finally in the area. I highly recommend ordering ahead for pickup for the next few months until the hype settles—unless you don’t mind the long wait. Either way, I’ll definitely be back!

I was able to make it to the opening of the Cava location in Plantation. Since it is opening week, pack your patience lol; the line was wrapped around the building. It took an hour and half to get through the long line. However the staff in Cava were very helpful, kind, and friendly trying to move the line as quickly as possible. They even gave us water to help beat the heat outside. The place has a lively bright ambiance with great music playing. The food was fresh, hot, and nice portion sizes. My favorite is the greens and grains bowl with grilled chicken, red pepper hummus, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, and their crispy pita chips. I’m so happy Cava is now in Broward county and I will be back.

I ordered online due to the fact that I worked at 5, it said 4:15 before I ordered and then as I checked out it said 5:15…. So I had my friend take it to me. Food was great but I never got my pita💔 my friends bowl was filled while mine was significantly filled less. The food was amazing im just sad that the sizing was inconsistent and I never got my pita after I ordered it at 3.
