Dar Tajine

Me and my family went here as we were looking for a good dinner spot, I've been to Morocco for close to a month and loved it so I was looking forward to having some of that experience back. The atmosphere was really nice, it was dim and the decorations were all Moroccan inspired. I thought the Tajine and grill were pretty good, although I felt the size of the grill was a bit small. The Moroccan tea was great! I do think that the service could be improved as there was only one waiter who was expected to man so many tables which led to some confusion on his end. I think if they hire more staff, they can more efficiently run the restaurant and be more time punctual. I would still recommend a visit.

The restaurant is nicely decorated with traditional Moroccan attire and souvenirs. There was one waiter attending five tables. The vibes were a bit depressing here. When I go out to eat, I am trying to enjoy a meal and have a nice experience. The staff in the kitchen were arguing loudly. It sounded like a mother and her daughter were going at it. This is unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. Plz keep your emotions/feelings out of business. The zaalouk was good, nothing exceptional. Bread was fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken couscous which had plenty of vegetables and it was a good portion, but the food overall was really underwhelming. I just didn’t think it tasted good at all. Maybe try the tajine. Didn’t love it.

My husband, originally from Morocco, and I had a craving for authentic Moroccan cuisine and discovered this little gem of a restaurant. We enjoyed the Tajine, Bastilla, Bisara, and traditional Moroccan tea, and everything was absolutely delicious! Each dish reminded us of the wonderful flavors from back home. The atmosphere was warm, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in the mood for Moroccan food, this place is a must-visit! We can’t wait to return!

Very very delicious and authentic. I'm definitely returning whenever I'm in the area. I just wish they had Hawai (Moroccan soda). Enjoyed my time and food. I really appreciate how our server played Moroccan music for me and my friends (when I asked for it). We had the Chicken Bastilla, Chicken Tagine, Moroccan bread and Lamb Kabob (shish) and the mint tea. MO

Amazing spot for authentic Moroccan food! Had a delicious dinner here starting with the chicken bastilla as an appetizer which set the tone perfectly. We had the kofta kabob and lamb shank tajine for our entrees. The kabob was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The lamb was literally falling off the bone it was so tender! The atmosphere and decor was beautiful and our server was excellent. Can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes!
