Foodtown is an experience. A neighbor recommended it when we were looking for ingredients to try an Asian dish, and we’ve been back twice since. Each visit feels like a mini adventure—eye-opening and fascinating. This might be the largest ethnic grocery store we’ve ever been to. The variety is incredible: produce from the Caribbean, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. You’ll find items here that you probably can’t get anywhere else—many we have never even seen or heard of before. We especially love the fresh Asian greens and herbs. Finally, a place where baby bok choy is actually baby-sized, and where mint and basil come in generous bags instead of tiny bundles. The aisles are packed with sauces, rice, and noodles that could make your head spin. There’s also a wide selection of fish, meat, and animal parts you’d typically only find in wet markets abroad—definitely not your standard grocery store. While it’s not the cleanest m, cheapest or most customer-friendly place, it’s a fantastic resource if you are looking to cook authentic ethnic dishes.

Best time to go for groceries early morning not crowded and easy to check out. Evening time is very crowded. Prices are higher

I’ve visited Foodtown in West Palm Beach a few times, hoping it would be a convenient option for international groceries, but unfortunately, it falls short in several areas. The meat and fish section often has an unpleasant smell, which is off-putting. Many frozen items seem outdated, and I’ve encountered stale products—like cookies with compromised packaging. I’ve also noticed items with visible fungus left on shelves, which raises serious quality concerns. Prices are generally higher compared to other local grocery stores. For example, milk, eggs, and yogurt are noticeably more expensive. Rice placed in the Indian grocery section is priced higher than similar local options, which feels misleading. Additionally, the variety of Indian vegetables has gone down significantly—staples like tinda are no longer available. On the positive side, they do carry a good selection of Chinese products and a wide range of Indian spices, which is helpful if you’re looking for hard-to-find ingredients. Overall, it’s not my first choice for regular grocery shopping due to the quality and pricing issues, but it can be useful for specific ethnic products.

Love shopping here because they have a huge selection of Asian items. Great place to have the butchers cut your selection of meats at a reasonable price. Huge selection of items which took a while to walk around store for viewing. Reporting live from SSNRADI0

Buyer beware!, I purchased a jar of olives mid March! opened the bottle and a few weeks later there was mold all over the top! I noticed the expiration date was 4/25! I took the bottle back for exchange and the manager refused to assist me because it had passed their 7 day return policy! I tried to explain it happened after the 7 day window and the product had not yet expired aevn though they sold me a short dated product! lost $23! POOR STORE POLICY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!
