Gyros & Salads

This is my very 1st time writing a review about anything. Today 04/12/2016 I place and order to "Gyros & Salads" through Eat24. I place my order 30 minutes before going out for lunch so it can arrived on time for me to have it. I place my order exactly at 11:25 am and i didn't get my food till 2:05 pm. When i saw that it was already 12:25 i decided to call the 1-800 customer service from Eat24 and they told me that they were going to call the restaurant to check what was going on. The rep from Eat24 was very nice and said that the restaurant had told him that the delivery man was already on his way to my office and that it should arrive in about 10-15 minutes... Guess what???? It never did. So, I decided to call the restaurant and the man that picked up the phone was very rude and nasty to me and all he keep on saying was " What do you want me to do? I cant make the delivery man run over all the cars in front of him". This person from Gyros & Salads NEVER EVER apologized to me not even once nor offered a discount for the waiting. And he at the end said to just keep on waiting that my food was going to arrived anytime. I waited till 2:05 pm and the delivery man acted like he didn't care about my complaint and said that he was told to deliver the orders that were far away from the restaurant 1st and to leave for last the orders that were minutes away from the restaurant. This didn't make any cense to me but I let the driver go. When I open my food to start eating it this one was cold and it looked like it had been through a hurricane. I ate half of it only because I was really starving. Right after, I called Eat24 to make the complaint about how my food had arrived and about how rude the man from the restaurant had treated me. Once again the customer service guy from Eat24 was very understandable and called the restaurant to see if the restaurant could at list give me some type of discount for the 2 hour and 1/2 that I waited. When he got back to me, he said that the restaurant had told him that all they can do for me was to offer me a 10% discount which it was $1.64 off of my bill. Even the rep from Eat24 was in disbelieve that they had offer me Just a 10% off and not a 50%off after waiting so long for my food to arrived. He said that because of this incident he was going to send to my e-mail an additional coupon so I can used it at any on any of my future order. I give this restaurant 1 start and they should be thankful that am giving them 1 start and am doing this because at the end I got an extra coupon on behalf Eat24. When this restaurant started my co-workers and I would order from them almost 3-4 times per week but after seeing that day by day there delivery process was declining we stopped. Today one of my co-workers and I were crabbing for some Gyro and decided to give this restaurant another chance.... MY MISTAKE.... NEVER AGAIN look what happen to me today. Is very salad because the food is really good except the part that the food arrives cold all the time and you have to re-heated in the microwave. THIS WAS MY LAST TIME ORDERING FROM "GYROS & SALADS". Great place for lunch if you work in the area. Gyro platter is amazing! only bad thing is the hours on the weekends are a little variable, sometimes I come to have lunch and they arent open during their posted hours. other than that, its great!

My fiance and I drove over 30 mins to have gyros and when we got here no one was there. Says open at 11am we waited an additional 15 mins and still so sign of life inside even tho their open sign is on. Deff disappointing but after seeing the other negative comments I guess should be no surprise. If your thinking of going here DON'T!!!

I always order the Mixed Gyro combo or the chicken Gyro with fries and a salad. The fries are on point and the Gyros are better than expected. The deliver is always very punctual with me and the deliver boys are sweet.

This place is excellent! Highly recommmend. They make such tasty gyros, staff is always friendly, and the place is pristine. Shout out to Jake! Thanks for the great food "Gyros and Salads"!!
