Islamic Center of Fort Walton Beach

MashaAllah good to meet a small but diverse Muslim community in Destin. Met two brothers who moved from NYC. The masjid currently only opens for Jummah. Separate entrance and space for sisters. Jummah prayer (Khutba) starts at 1pm, jamaat around 1:30pm in Nov. Asked the khateeb and he said it's the same time all year long. Pray that they be able to purchase the property and make it permanent. Currently they are renting this space.

Only Juma prayers here. But if you go there for any prayers the smoke shop next door has the key. You can open and pray ان شاءاللہ Separate area for women

Stopped in for Jummah Salah, Alhumdulillah was great to see a musjid and muslim community here.

Women have zero rights here. If you're a woman you are not allowed to pray in the main room. You have to cover up. You are an object. Zero freedoms if you are female.

Good to see a masjid but Not open for 5 time Salah tried coming for fajr magjrib esha no contact no keys no lock box and no one came to pray :) Will try again
