Islamic Center of Lake City

Don’t care about going inside and enjoy the design and AC. Can you at least keep the gate open so we can pray in the parking lot!? (3.5 miles from I-75) I am not saying don’t go there. Just know the fact. I can imagine a family with kids driving at night where it’s so dark ( I’ve driven here at night before) 3.5 miles just to face a chained fence! Brothers if someone wants to break in, this fence is not going to stop him/her. Can you at least open the gate for Muslims who are traveling. May Allah opens the gates of heaven to you.

Alhumdulillah summa Alhumdulillah We were traveling on this route I was worrying about my Friday prayer and I don’t know about any masjid near me then my brother told me to check on google map then I got to know about this beautiful masjid we are just 15 miles near to the masjid I didn’t expect that I can get my prayer Mashallah 💜

Assalamou alicom This mosque is not abandoned Yes it's open on Fridays for Friday prayer and on muslim holidays for the holiday prayer only, we do not have a full time imam, in plus all people are working so we apologize for any inconvenience

This is an abandoned masjid. It should be marked permanently closed. The entire area seems to have been abandoned. The building walls are growing vegetation because it has been abandoned for so long. Would've been a great place for travelers to pray if it had not been abandoned.

Been going to this mosque for awhile since I was a teen, they only do Friday prayers and muslim holidays too such as Ramadan prayers and eid. Subhanallah, keep spreading our Muslim community 🌺
