The mosque is big, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. It has a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, which was great.
A wonderful and serene place to visit

A Beautiful Masjid, But Unwelcoming to Families with Children.
This masjid is beautiful and spiritually uplifting, a great place for prayer. However, it’s unfortunately not very welcoming for families with children. Some older women regularly confront parents, even when kids are calm and respectful. Their behavior is often rude and, at times, feels discriminatory.
It’s disheartening that the management has turned a blind eye to this issue. I personally know a few families who have stopped attending prayers because of these negative encounters. A masjid should be a place of compassion and unity, not judgment and hostility.
I sincerely pray Allah grants us all wisdom, patience, and kindness, especially within His house.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah,
I am writing with respect and sincerity to share a concern I have experienced while attending the mosque.
As a parent, I deeply value bringing my child to the masjid so she can grow up loving the house of Allah. However, I have noticed that some members of the community, especially among certain groups (including some Arab brothers and sisters), seem uncomfortable with the presence of young children and react negatively when they make small noises.
While I understand the importance of maintaining focus during prayer, I kindly ask for greater patience and understanding toward parents with young children. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was compassionate with children in the masjid and reminded us to show mercy toward them.

This is a great Mosque. I enjoy the way the Imam recites the Quran. They are friendly, and God can be found here if you are looking.

I’m BLACK sister new to South Florida from New Jersey. The sisters were cold and unfriendly. Didn’t even want to give me salaams. Shake sisters hands that look like them and speak their language and walked right pass me. I have been a Muslim for 33 years never felt so uncomfortable in the house of ALLAH. I didn’t even stay for Jumah I got in an Uber and left. Yes I’m black and just as much Muslim as the people at this particular Masjid. May Allah forgive us all..Ameen…Sister Sakina Abdul Ali.
