We were visiting from florida and sadly the masjid was closed on Sunday which was strange for us to see,It opens for one hour on Sundays but would be nice if they open on salah times,We were there at zuhur time and couldn't figure out how to enter for prayers may be it's just us who want figure but there were no instructions on any gate.

I had a wonderful experience exploring the library upstairs of this historic masjid. The collection of Islamic books was impressive, and the ornate decor added to the cultural richness. My children and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and could have spent the entire day immersed in the knowledge and beauty that surrounded us. Highly recommended for anyone interested in Islamic literature and history.

Beautiful masjid, library, and museum and such a welcoming environment mashAllah! I brought some friends visiting from abroad and although they are typically not open to visitors on Fridays (we found out after we got there), Brother Ameer and his wife were kind enough to open their doors and show us around after Jummah prayer.
Highly recommend coming during their visitor hours Mon-Thurs between Dhuhr and Asr prayers.

I can’t say enough about the Islamic Dawa Center. I visited for the first time while in downtown, looking for a place to pray Dhuhr , and I was impressed. The mosque is spotless, peaceful, and has a welcoming atmosphere. It’s truly a gem in the heart of downtown. May Allah reward those who maintain this beautiful place.

Beautiful masjid with hidden gems in each level. Art and history all in one! Beautiful collection of Islamic books. A must-see in Houston. We were lucky enough to have a quick tour of the masjids' transformation throughout the years.
