I recently had the pleasure of grabbing some lunch with my son at Mediterranean Street Food by Sishco in Maitland, FL, and overall, the experience was not bad. This hidden gem, nestled in a small shopping center, offers an authentic taste of Mediterranean cuisine that is hard to come by. Authentic Taste: At first bite the rich and vibrant flavors took me by surprise. The falafel had a wonderful crunch was delightfully filling, My son had the Gyro bowl and his take highlights the flavor and how filling it was, each dish was a testament to the authenticity that Sishco prides itself on, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates Mediterranean street food. Generous Portions: One of the highlights was the generous portion sizes. Whether you opt for a wrap, platter, or bowl, you’ll find yourself with more than enough to satisfy your hunger. The value for money is impressive, especially considering the quality of the ingredients used. I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied, which is always a plus! Great Sauces: The sauces at Sishco deserve a special mention. The tahini and spicy sauces were equally delicious and complemented the dishes perfectly. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into their sauce selection, elevating the overall dining experience. Service: The service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Ambiance: While the food and service were excellent, the ambiance left a bit to be desired. It’s located in the center of a parking lot in a small shopping center, which detracts from the experience just a little. The decor feels a bit dated, and the tables appear old and worn. Additionally, on warmer days, the seating can get quite hot, making it less comfortable during peak hours. The view is nothing to brag about, as it overlooks the parking lot rather than any scenic landscape. Music: On a brighter note, the music playing on the speakers background was fantastic! It created a lively atmosphere that complemented the vibrant flavors of the food. It was upbeat but not overpowering, allowing for a pleasant dining experience. Conclusion: In conclusion, Mediterranean Street Food by Sishco is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Mediterranean flavors at a great value. The generous portions, delicious sauces, and excellent service truly stand out. Just be prepared for a less-than-perfect ambiance, as it could use a little refreshing. Regardless, I highly recommend giving this place a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Food was absolutely amazing! I got the Turkish meatball pita (bottom) and it is incredibly filling for the price. I wasn't even able to finish it all but it was extremely worth it for how much it was. Everything was cooked beautifully and the outside seating area is really cute and well shaded! Overall I would 100% recommend.

This spot brings Mediterranean flavors to life with generous portions and incredible taste. The kebabs are perfectly seasoned and grilled, the cauliflower with tahini is rich and earthy, and the bowls are bursting with authentic, fresh ingredients. Every dish feels like a trip to the Mediterranean—hearty, flavorful, and unforgettable.

All I can say is wow! My husband and I just finished eating dinner here and we absolutely loved it. We saw a video on instagram of someone recommending it and we’re so glad we gave it a try. The presentation of the food is beautiful, the freshness of all the ingredients and flavor were top tier. You really get your moneys worth with the portions as well. The service and environment were great. It was chill, cool & cozy. Everything was superb. I got the beef shish kebab bowl + their homemade hibiscus tea and my husband got the lamb chop bowl. Our only regret was not taking a picture to post here to really sell it haha (we were too hungry and in food heaven) Thank you to the people in charge/workers for a great hidden gem and yummy food. This is the kinda food that makes people happy, we will definitely be back.

We got the ribeye wrap (halal), homemade lemonade and fries. The food and sauces were amazing, huge portions, and great service!! Would highly recommend coming here
