Wally's Gyros-n-Subs

Today is my first time here and I’m impressed. Great customer service and the food is excellent. I’m having a chicken and cheese sub which is a must have and the fries are good as hell and I’m not a big fry person.

The food here was incredible. Super great service! We were well taken care of. This place is like a hidden Gem in Jacksonville. We will be back when I have my next Gyro craving! We even got served some sweet treats on the house. Fried mushrooms were piping hot, Gyro was HUGE and packed full...only wish I was given extra Tzatziki sauce because oh man was it delicious!!!! I would rate atmosphere a 3 out of 5. The owner was super sweet, but it's very old school vibes and soda machine was outdated and out of product- water nozzle got stuck. They do have a little shop connected but beware of exp dates.

Do not let the exterior fool you!! This place is a hidden gem and the food is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!!! There is a nearby Soulfood place that was underwhelming to say the least, but we came back because we saw that this place had really good reviews. We were not disappointed!! EXCEPTIONAL food and service!!! We had their gyros and the stuffed grape leaves!! I also had their hummus, which was INCREDIBLE!!! If you’re in the Jacksonville area, and anywhere near Jacksonville University, this is a MUST visit!!

“Food so good it transports you to another place!” 💯 The owner review is right, once you try the food from Wally’s you will NOT want it from anywhere else! The staff was super polite for our visit and they happened to be a hidden gem, because they were open after 12AM on a Sunday which is usually unheard of in Jax unless you are at a bar. All of the items we ordered were outstanding and flavors were out of this world. Even the wings were great and better than I would’ve thought. By far the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to visit again and try more!!

Absolutely wonderful staff and food 😊❤️🫶😋 if you're in the area and thinking about stopping by or looking for good food I'd definitely recommend stopping by Wally's . They have great tasting food and prices. The food they offer is made fresh and tastes fantastic. 5/5 would definitely recommend.
